Alexia, Maria and Stephanie's Grad Session and More

Hello everyone! It has been 2 weeks that I have posted now and I apologize for that. For some reason Squarespace did not want to open up on my laptop so I'm blogging from my friends computer. For a while now Alexia and I had been wanting to shoot together but our schedules never aligned up. We finally got the chance to last Friday and I believe it was worth the wait. My photography has grown since the first time we tried to shoot so I'm sure the pictures came out way better then they would have a couple months ago. Overall, the shoot was very fun and I look forward to working with Alexia again in the future.

Last Sunday I had two shoots that I was very excited about. The first shoot was for a little boy turning 2 named Landon. I don't really like shooting kids because I get really frustrated after a while if they do not pay attention but in this case Landon was very cooperative. At first he would just stare at me but after a while he got comfortable and did his thing.

Right after Landon's shoot I left and went straight to meet Maria and Stephanie. This is the second shoot that I have done with them but this was easily the most important of the two. Graduation pictures are my second favorite pictures right behind engagement pictures. It being my first graduation shoot of the 2015 year made it even more special then it already was. The shoot was very fun and full with laughs as expected. The girls had a tough time trying to blow the bubbles but after a couple minutes of waiting we got the shots we needed.

Okay finally to finish this post! I had been looking into steel wool photography for a couples years now but I never had the time our courage to do it. I finally had some spare time on my hand and decided to give it a shot. I went to Walmart and bought some grade 0000 steel wool, a whisk and a dog chain. Weird shopping list I know. After I drove out to the beach and gave it a shot! Now for anyone that wants to try this I recommend to take glasses and a jacket with a hood to protect yourself and also gloves, don't forget gloves, I learned that the hard way.

Thanks again everyone for reading! Contact me if you're interested in setting up a shoot! Until next time, keep shooting!
