Jus' Mac Montrose
Hello again everyone! Welcome back to Plates and Portraits, Jocelyn and myself's blog that we usually post on the last Friday of the month but due to our schedules we weren't able to get this post out in time. Anyways time to get to what you all come for. The food! This month Jocelyn and I decided to eat at Jus' Mac Montrose located on Westheimer Rd.
I had heard about this place before and had the urge to try it. It is a very nice place when you arrive and you go straight to the register to order. It was a little complicated to order but once we got help we knew exactly what we wanted. Every dish comes with mac and cheese and other ingredients depending on what you order. I got the Pit Master which was mac and cheese with Brisket topped/Colby Jack with BBQ sauce on top and Jocelyn got the Buffalo Chicken which was mac and cheese with seared chicken, bacon, franks hot sauce and topped with blue cheese. Overall, I absolutely loved it. It was very cheesy and creamy and the brisket made it taste so much better then I thought it would. The first thing Jocelyn said when she took a bite was "Wow, wow, wow."
Jus' Mac is for the cheese lovers like me! I got the buffalo chicken mac and cheese! Its just the right flavors for me since I love a hint of spiciness with my food. Let me just talk about the cheese first! It was creamy and the flavor was just amazing! The cheese to pasta portion is just right no pasta will be untouched by the cheese, because who loves mac and cheese with cheese missing right?! I sure don't! The chicken and the buffalo sauce made it all more interesting with a hint of blu cheese on top! Yes more cheese. YUM! I enjoyed every bite and I know you cheese lovers will too!
For my outfit. I'm wearing an off the shoulder top which will be in season this spring/summer from FOREVER 21 my pants are from New York & Company from the Eva Mendes collection and my shoes are Micheal Kors.
Thank you again everyone to take the time to read our blog! Let us know if you check out Jus' Mac and don't forget to use the hash tag #PlatesAndPortraits. See you next month!
